Hanging Shapes

Different symbols and shapes are used to create an original mobile , Which will catch light if you decorate it with glass panels and glass beads.

you will need:

1. modeling clay

2. pencil

3. card

4. scissors

5. thin wire

6. glass beads of different colors

7. clay modeling tools
8. sandpaper

1. roll out the modeling clay to a flat sheet (at least 5mm thick).

2.  draw different shapes and symbols on the card and cut them out.

3. place the shapes on the clay sheet and cut around them with a modeling tool.

4. smooth all the surfaces and edges of the shapes.

5. if you want you can lift up the edges of the shapes with wet fingers.

6. decorate the shapes with glass beads.

7. pierce a small hole in the top and bottom of the shape and allow to dry thoroughly. 

8. if you like you can sand down all the edges once the shapes have dried.

9. use the thin wire to join all the shapes together .

you can hang them anywhere you like , but the best place is a window so that the beads can catch light.
